Hearts To Help Foundation

Over a decade ago, Isabel Tangonan wanted to give back to her native hometown in Carmen, Bohol - an idyllic town located in the heart of Bohol Island in Southern Philippines. Less than 2 miles from here is the geographic famous landmark, Chocolate Hills , 1000+ geological hills formation shaped like a cone. She started helping out underpriviledged kids by providing monetary assistance for their essentials - uniforms, back packs, shoes and other school supplies. Not until late last year that she decided along with her co-founders that it’s time to make it an official foundation called Hearts to Help, her younger son Aaron came up with this fitting name.

She is happily married (Laurence Tangonan one of the board members) with two boys named Lyle and Aaron. Currently work as a nurse part time as she manages full time their home board and care business.

“The heart of our foundation is from our donors who want to make a difference in a child’s life. We are not only changing one life but a generation. When we educate one student, we change their family generation. We help a child thru education.

I am grateful for the relatives, friends, and co workers who volunteered to become officers and board members for our foundation. Without them, our foundation will not be successful. I am forever grateful.”
